Lucia Thielman

Lucia Thielman has a background in social research and experience in action research projects concerning care for older adults and collaboration between different sectors.

As a Consultant at TrueMotion, Lucia supports clients in developing EU fundraising strategies and applications. Before joining the agency, she worked as a researcher for the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam where she researched the use of creative methods in youth care. In addition, she has worked for several years for research institutes such as Leyden Academy on Vitality and Ageing and the Academy for Age-Friendly Environments, where she focused on developing (European) projects on the intersection of ageing, health, and culture.

Lucia obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences at Leiden University. She then completed her Master’s degree in Management, Policy-Analysis and Entrepreneurship in Health and Life Sciences in 2018. Lucia is based in The Netherlands and Spain. She speaks Dutch, German, English and is in the process of learning Spanish.
